9. Mice of the Round Table
Mice of the Round Table is a series of 3 books written by Julie Leung. It is the story of a young mouse called Calib Christopher who aspires to be knight of the Round Table.
This book is recommended for ages 8-12
8. The Hunt for the Mad Wolf’s Daughter
Written by Diane Magras, this book is a Scottish medieval adventure, where Drest learns that Lord Faintree has claimed the castle for his own and convinced the nights that the lord has been slain. Also check out “The Mad Wolf’s Daughter” as these two books are companions.
This book is recommend for ages 8 – 12
7. The Knight and the Dragon
Written and illustrated by Tomie dePaola, The Knight and the Dragon is about what happens when a sheepish knight and a not-so-fierce dragon fight for the very first time.
This is a picture book and recommended for ages 4-8.
6. The Forgetful Knight
The Forgetful Knight written by Michelle Robinson and illustrated by Fred Blunt. The book is a Monty Python style sendup of the classic knight and dragon story with rhymes and a twist at the end.
The Forgetful Knight is aimed at 4-8 year olds.
5. Night Knight
Night Knight is written by Owen Davey and is a bedtime adventure as a little knight rides through the forests to reach his bedroom, including battled with crocodiles to brush his teeth and climbing over the tallest tower to get into bed.
Made for young adventures in Preschool to Kindergarten.
4. Small Knight and George and the Pirates
A perfect book for brave little pirates and knights. The story is about Small Knight and George the Dragon setting sail on an important mission to find treasure and save the castle. A funny book which is great to read aloud from Ronda Armitage. Illustrated will cartoon type images by Arthur Robins.
For reading levels aged 6 – 11 Years.
3. King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table
With the help of Merlin the magician, Arthur draws the sward from the stone and becomes the King of Britain and Lord of the Knights of the Round Table.
